FedEx featured on NBC's RockCenter - Tonight

Tonight, FedEx will be featured on Brian Williams new show "RockCenter" on NBC at 9et.

Recently, Brian jumpseated from KEWR to KMEM on a FedEx 777, toured the hub and several operations centers before interviewing Fred Smith.

Rock Center with Brian Williams - When your Valentine's Day flowers absolutely, positively, have to be there overnight

Enjoy!

Hmmmm? So a CARGO airline transported a non-pilot, non-employee.
I WILL BET YOU THEY BROKE A FAR!!! Expect the Captian & co-pilot to receive a violation and a fine/suspension.

We regularly take non-pilot, non-employees. It all depends on the individual's status and which FAR we are flying under.

There are also waivers that can be applied, which I believe is the most likely scenario.

My company issues flight deck passes to couriers, and customer reps occasionally. I see nothing wrong with this.

Yo SNAP, I wouldn't worry about it. Heck, next thing you know, FedEx will start allowing animal attendants to fly on their a/c.

BTW, word in the hub is spelling instruction is now part of the Captain's Course.

Did all the senior mgmt types have to fly Brian Williams down, or did they let a regular line crew fly it?
