Default Back end deadhead bank

I've looked but I'm starting to nod off. I had a backend deadhead changed (date and city) pushed a day later. Bank for original has disappeared and only have the new bank showing on exp. report.

Contract says any change to deadhead after trip start bank money stays, Heard on the crew bus you only get the higher of the two. Now I could use that other bank money but can't put it into exp. report until after trips over to see if it will show up. Anybody deal with this and actually have both bank monies credited in the bank or if not where does it say you can only get the higher of the 2?

Could use a nice link on this one LAG.

You will get the higher of the two. You may have to file a discrepancy on your voucher in the Travel bank section.

8.C.2.a

"... However, if a deadhead trip is changed or canceled by the company, the deadhead bank monies remain intact..."

Try looking on the Q&A at the end of the HTML version of the CBA on the website. All kinds of useful information.

Q. What happens to my deviation bank if my deadhead schedule is revised, or my trip is canceled.

A. The deviation bank will have the higher of the deviation moneys when the trip was awarded/assigned, or upon block-out. If the trip was canceled, the bank value is based on when the trip was awarded/assigned, or the latest revision prior to cancellation.

I believe you get the highest of:

1. Awarded/assigned
2. Block-out
3. Final Revision

You are NOT guarunteed to get any post block out revisions....just the final version, if it's the highest.

I've seen the scheduled back-end DH flight, and therefore the bank, change many times during a trip, and only the Final Revision (if it's the highest of the above 3) can increase the bank.
