Dumb question
What happens when you get to the top of the payscale as far as pay increases? Do you simply stop getting raises? (posted in cargo as I am particularly interested in FedEx)
|
Unless a new payrate via a new contract is negotiated.... yes
|
Wow, that was fast! Thanks.

You forgot to mention the really big Christmas bonus you get each year after reaching the top of the pay scale

So, what many of our senior pilots do, is fly all the time. That way, when they're reminiscing with the kids and the grandkids...They can tell them about all the money they made while everyone else watched them grow up. |
Or maybe they are flying make up hours from trips they dropped when they were junior and their kids were at home?

Someone once told me a long time ago that there is no such thing as a dumb question, only dumb people who ask questions :p I think it was one of my old ground school instructors! (Sorry, couldn't resist) |
