Trip trades ok?

I'm new here. Is it ok to solicit trip trades here? I'm a FedEx bus guy and I have some ORF back end d/h trips I'd like to trade.

Nothing against the rules but we will now get 3 or 4 posts talking about the alpa site. Since you are new here try to include FDX in your thread title so that we FDX guys will know it is important and not some trivial matter. ;)

What airline?

(Figured I'd save everybody else the trouble)

A previous FedEx Trip Trade Thread which includes aforementioned mandatory ALPA website comments. :D:D

Better to use this site for any trips you have available for PDO bump.

Thanks for the replies. I looked at the ALPA site and didn't find any place to do trip trading. It would help if they had a search box. Triptrade.info doesn't look like anyone's been there. I also tried to register at FDXPilot.com last week and still haven't received an activation e-mail, so I guess that's pretty much dead. Maybe dropping the trips is the only way to go?

Please, no PDO begging here either.
PDO begging is SPAM.
All trips are potentially available for PDO bump.
Find the trip you want to fly and go ask the person who has it.
Lets not make us endure the SPAM from beggars.

I'll take all your ORF back end DH trips. At least the ones in the 75.

Only post trip trades on APC if you want someone to actually see them. If you want to just have them posted and gather dust in an area where NO ONE ever looks then you should certainly post on the alpa.fdx page. Out of 4500+ pilots, there are currently 5 total trip trade postings on the alpa page - and don't forget the format is much less user friendly than the standard that APC uses - all that for $15+ million in annual dues.

Home Page > Second Link bar > Pilot Services (Layovers, Swaps, Classified, Textcaster); OR, you can scroll down and click on the Huge Trip Swap icon. ;)
