UPS Hiring Pool??
 

Anyone hear about the hiring pool at UPS? Apparently it is not for line positions. I hear there are plenty swimming for a FQS position!

Just wondering if this was a really bad rumor or not!:confused:

Anyone who was trying to get a FQS job should be glad they never got the call.

As I go through the sort I see these clowns in action and am so thankful that I am not one of them!

Was told by a very HIGH UP that orders came down in June and no mo flight qual managers. Only sim and ground school instructors as needed.;)

You post too much inaccurate information over the years to be "in the know", there are so few that know what is really going on, least of all you.

Talked to a UPS bud last night. Says 46 still on furlough, no further recalls this year and that UPS has cut 1000 hours out of Asia flying.

What needs to happen is the cargo cutout being repealed.

What really needs to happen is the economy needs to rev up......

What really needs to happen is: 1) the world-wide economy needs to improve; 2) UPS needs a change in upper management, to one which actually wants to grow their airline; and 3) you guys need a better color uniform, because brown stinks.;)

1 and 2 are spot on! Number 3, well, the unis are FREE and while not the coolest I guess I just don't care. :eek:

Not the coolest - might just be the understatement of the year.

Don't really care myself, but not the coolest means they are still in the cool category even if on the trailing edge. They look like crap, it is what it is. Back to worrying about the U.S. and World economic collapse.

Can't disagree, they do look like crap. However, if the company doesn't care that they look like the end result of our catering then neither do I. I show up to work(mostly) on time and do my job 100%. No more, no less. To quote Bill Murray in Meatballs, "It just doesn't matter! It just doesn't matter, it just doesn't matter".
Our unis are the least of our worries.

All airline uniforms look the same at Night. :)
