Default Greens at Irene

((mods... Please leave here, as most Fedex dudes lurk here))

Hi, I'm looking to join a Crashpad there and play golf while in town. Please PM me if you have any intel. Much appreciated.

And yes, I'm aware of some of the history. It's Memphis.

Thanks!

Crash padded there like 7 years ago. We had the exec rental which included free golf. Don't know if they offer that anymore.

Is the history you are referring to the armed robbery of one of our S/O's at the Greens?

Or is it Lorenzen Wright's (former NBA player) body being found about 2 miles from the Greens behind another set of apartments?

Or is it the armed robbery of the Kroger & the BP about a mile away (different days...for once)?

They don't call it the "Ghetto in the Meadow" for no reason! Be cautious out there. My car was broken into twice in the middle of the Costco parking lot just around the corner and the Kroger is where an armed gunman took 7 hostages while robbing the bank inside the store. I finally moved.

Not recommended. Lived in a crashpad nearby about 6 years ago and it was ok but steadily went downhill with crime. There was a murder in those apartments shortly after it opened (believe it was drug related). The golf course is not that good compared to those near by in the area. Apartments at Bailey Creek Station are much better and safer. Better golf courses nearby are the Plantation and it's sister course Cherokee Valley, Wedgewood, etc. Many of us have had cars/trucks stolen in East Memphis...mine was my favorite pickup that I had brought to Memphis for only a few days. Cops don't care or help on car thefts as it is a non-violent crime and is a hourly event. I spent some time in the South Haven area in a crash pad and had no problems and they had a nice golf course on State Street. Choose wisely Grasshopper or suffer from the wrath of the Memphis curse.

Wink

You guys didn't hear? Chainsaw moved in with the family, and is now single-handedly cleaning the place up.

Memphis thugs are no match for the AOC brawler...
