It will have to be negotiated by a letter of agreement. My guess is the 777 will pay the same as our 10,11,a300

I hope you're wrong. The 777F grosses out about 140K lbs more than an MD-11. Although it's not as big as an A-380, it will be flying some of the same routes. I hope the union pushes for a different payrate.

I don't see where B777 is mentioned in the contract, so it will have to be negotiated. You know Fred is gonna want something in return - maybe the up and out policy JL seems to want?

Boeing is working on a 777BCF which makes a standard 777 into a freighter. The 777 floor beams are composite but can be replaced with beefier ones.

If you were a betting man what do you think will happen.........................
The language in the contract allows the Company to put a "new" aircraft in service before a pay rate is agreed upon.......
