FDX: Preferential Bidding

There was some comedian, way back, said that whenever you kidnap somebody, you should have one demand that shows you're insane.
"I want a million cash, a helicopter ride out of here and I want the letter "E" stricken from the english language....."
PBS is so out there that maybe it's just to keep our eyes off scope, deadhead banks and other stuff.

Oh, and what about parkas? can we talk about parkas, please?.....

Probably not popular, but every time we negotiate for work rule changes (Grid Penalty, 380 payrates, 4.A.2.b, etc.) we seem to get our a** handed to us within a short time.
I know the current contract and know where the devil lies. I'm to the point that I just want raises. Don't screw with my vacation or retirement. These are the biggest items in our favor and the company is always going to try to screw these up, hence they always try to put lipstick on the PBS pig.

PBS=NO is catchy, but I have voted no to everything we have had placed before us since I have been on property. When you talk on the bus, or in AOC, or the bar wherever it seems everyone else says they are voting no, or voted no! Somebody is not towing the line.

What a waste of time and money!
They are sparing no expense to fire pilots and look into useless initiatives like PBS. They can't seem to hire enough people to work over the pilots.
Apparently they have lots of money to spread around. I'm not worried in the least about any proposed give backs coming to fruition. They are not warranted and will not pass the smell test.
So keep paying guys like LT to work on his spreadsheets and special projects. Know it's not going to come out of the pilot CBA. It will come out of your management bonuses next year.

So, have any of you woke up and finally realized the company isn't really interested in working with us on "interim discussions"? They know PBS is a non starter yet they waste time by throwing it across the table. Just more stall tactics!
"Interim Discussions" in concept is a great idea but, it only works when BOTH sides are interested in discussing issues to achieve an agreement
