Evergreen to miss another payroll date

As I recall, when the doors closed, 485 was considered the 'most airworthy' of the 'abandoned' birds, and was serving as the parts storeroom for all the stuff that Evergreen could shove into it when they lost the JFK warehouse. Supposedly, all that had to be done to it was replace one of the cockpit windows (which had been covered with plywood in a photo I saw, as I recall).
Airliners.net says it was "sold for parts". It looks pretty good in the photo from 9 months ago. Just curious what you saw.
I loved working for Evergreen - just didn't love what my bank account looked like when it came time for me to get paid.
Good luck to all the former Zoners out there (except the few who flew their tails off while there were furloughs, and then told returning furloughees you were doing us "a favor". Yep - we still remember you, Bubba and JT).

N485EV is just sitting next to what looks to be some sort of paint shop in Kansas City. She may be scheduled to be repainted; but it looks like some sort of long term storage to me. As I past her on the way for takeoff, she looks to be ready for flying. Everything seems to be there and not on blocks.
