UPS and FAA rest rules?

Does anyone have an update on the FAA's allowance for the rest rules to apply for cargo pilots? If this does pass for cargo, has IPA indicated an estimate as to how many pilots UPS will need to hire?

I think a reduced work week would help with fatuige. 121 & 135.

Don't worry about this and just report management flying!

my best guess for hiring at UPS is 10% more pilots (about 250) if cargo cutout is eliminated.

Hopeful but not holding my breath.

I also don't understand why some of you have such a problem with the EB asking us in the membership to help police what UPS does out on the line with the nurps. You do realize that we're all on the same team and we together as a group make up the IPA. Everyone helping and participating is what makes all collective groups better as a whole.

So why is it such a problem for you and a couple others on here that the EB asks us for help?

Man I sure hope you aren't pinning any hopes on the rest rules having a positive impact on the UPS pilot group. I think you've got a better shot with the $325 million power ball drawing.

Not sure who/what you have been told in the past.
Keeps UPS reporting honest when they report MEF IAW with the CBA Art 17.D.5.
Audit tool.
