FDX Pro Instructor Positions

Can anyone provide information on instructor positions in the Gucci schoolhouse? A retired ANG buddy whose business is going under needs a vector on submitting an application. Appreciate the help!

The jobs are posted on the careers page on the generic FedEx Corp job website. You can find this from the main FedEx web page at the bottom and click on "careers". I do not believe there are any active postings so he may have to see if he can submit a resume and/or have a someone on the inside bring a resume into the higher ups and ask how he can apply if there are no actual postings active.

Good Luck to your friend.

We have 15 727 pros that will be transferring over to other aircraft, so externals will probably be a while.

Training has a long list of applicants waiting to be called. It will be a while

After you submitted your application, if you received a letter back saying you met the minimum qualifications, then you are on the list

Did any of the Pro Instructors take the buy out that was offered this year? I remember several years ago, the buy out that was offered considerably thinned the ranks in the 727 program. Didn't know if they would "encourage" some of the folks that have been there for many years to take the buy out and hire folks with experience in the other aircraft or FMS experience rather than try to retrain the 727 Instructors.
