Status of recalls at UPS?

The fact is, peak runs smoothly year after year because of the lack of training events, vacations, and the additional contractors working for us.
Will the remaining furloughees return in 2013? No doubt, and hiring off the street will be necessary as well if we get the rumored 30-40% of the USPS flying.

That's a legendary myth amongst many at UPS: that the company has a hard time getting through peak, so it throws out rumor-bones to make us all excited.

If indeed UPS gets some of that USPS contract, do you UPS guys think the rule about pilots living overseas not being able to fly USPS cargo for 5 years will be part of the agreement with UPS, or will UPS as FDX is rumored to be desiring, ask to remove that restriction?
Thanks

Other than the fact that we ran out of pilots on Christmas Eve. Was called for JA two days in a row, which is rare for me. Otherwise, no new rumors that I have heard.
