Is it just me....non rev travel CBT.

Just to highlight the important bits. Does anyone think FedEx isn't trying to make this "benefit" not worth the trouble? I put in a fare request and was told UAL provides NO personal travel benefit at all at this time.
I think its time we ask the company to pull the reciprocal agreements with the industry and see who really benefiting from any of this. If we (or they) make using reduced rate travel so difficult, and provide an inferior product, why should we provide anyone with reduced FedEx shipping. My guess is alot of pax industry folks are using us, let them go to UPS

The current ID75s are a joke in my opinion. Why have to dress up to be the last one on the jet and get row 89G. I'd rather just wait for a fare sale or use a frequent flyer ticket or the miles I get on my MasterCard.

I'm not sure I see the benefit of hammering the 99% of the pax world employees who have no say in the quality of our interline benefits. Personally, I JS frequently on the pax carriers and I'd sure hate to start a tit for tat deal where they decide to yank our jumpseats.

If United can't see fit to offer us any interline benefit, I see no reason to provide a benefit in return. If we are providing a reduced rate shipping and stopping doing so, hopefully UAL employees will call on their company to provide us a benefit to justify the shipping discount we provide.

I'm not so sure about that? I too, always thought that because we are unable to reciprocate with Interline Travel benefits that we offer discounted shipping in exchange. Are you sure about that? Like has been said above, other Interline employees have always been quite grateful for the benefit

If that is true, than their employers can reciprocate with a benefit related to the product they provide. We give JS to the industry and receive in return. Way more pax carrier employees use our shipping benefit than we use their SA travel. The playing field was uneven before FedEx decided to change the rules and charge for the privilege to boot!

Flying domestically commercially simply isnt worth it period, let alone flying standby ontop, just to sit in 98G between two samoan dudes who havent showered for a week and who smell like ass. Those few times and places where I would go commercial with the family, I'll simply buy a ticket.
