We now have around 60 of the 87 757s that we 'ordered'. Once we got the 757, they claimed we would never have the 767, as it wouldn't work at FDX, we have 50 on order currently.
The 737-400 seems to be doing well as a freighter. With the 737 MAX coming within the next decade, there will be a lot of middle aged 737-800/900s in service looking for new careers. I would imagine they would be fine freighters, and perhaps UPS or FDX would take a look. Whether or not they will buy them is anyone's guess. I have heard 'rumors' that we have looked at 737 again, but they are just rumors! Are all of your 757s conversions from passenger aircraft? How many containers does the top side hold? Thanks.... |

Thanks.... Pretty sure it is the 14 or 14.5 conversion. Not all plane are converted, many sitting in the desert awaiting their turn. |

Thanks, Our employer figured out how to install an overwing exit door as a main entry door when they ordered them new in the old days, with 14 on top. With our setup, we must go back to a somewhere between 100,000 year and 2 million BC stance to get in the door. |

1/2 of FDX fleet is C-208s.
Connect the dots, it looks like mainline and regionals. |

I think that under the new hiring standards they're mostly all overqualified.
