Default FedEx-757 training letter

Why is the Europe 757 captains training keep being pushed to the end of the training letter?

You don't suppose it could it be that they need MEM crews more than CGN? Maybe, its because they had Europe crews flying reverse SIBA lines in the US during peak. Too funny. Building CGN lines that DH over here, to fly MEM trips.

It could also be something as innocuous as, the captains may be flex/LCA's on the 727, and they are being held on the 3-holer until the very end of the 727 life cycle.

Or it could have something to do with the completion of their 2 year commitment.

Heard from one the EUR captains waiting to train that it was because there isn't the growth we expected in Europe, so the 757 deliveries that were scheduled into CGN are going into MEM, and so are the bodies. Instead of expanding the base new people will rotate in as others reach their limit.

Again, heard on the crew bus, so IT MUST BE TRUE.

Not if they don't bid it. Sounds like the 3 year limit is some serious leverage if it's used properly. Big "if", unfortunately.

Only for the left seat.

Company has already proven they are fine with putting new hires in the right seat in Europe.
