I agree. Nanotechnology in general figures to be a game changer and probably sooner than most think.

Let's get in on the ground floor and start a 3d printer service union. Anyone that has a 3D printer will have to come to us. All that we need is someone to pony up the initial "investment" to harry reid and company.

It might be a good idea to talk to an insurance guy before buying any drone stocks.

Single pilot biz jets have a tough time with insurance due to their high accident rate- 3 times that of 2 pilot operations with the same equipment. Drones appear to be running at 30, t-h-i-t-y, times the accident rate of piloted aircraft doing similar missions.

There is a lot of hype from people trying to make money off of this, but the reality is that large civilian airplanes are going to have 2 pilots in front for a very, very long time.

They don't takeoff and land drones over populated areas or at commercial airports either, and probably never will.

Wrong. At CBP we fly preds out of the IAH airspace. We just have guys on parking garages, the beach, etc with binos to provide see and avoid for it. Takes about 12 pilots to recover the pilot-free aircraft.

Which commercial airport do they fly out of?

12 pilots to operate one pilot-less drone. But, the real savings comes in fewer deli snack extras in the catering.

Priceless!

But who's going to deliver the 3D printer? What happens when it breaks, who will deliver the parts?

You sound like a man stuck in the Bush era. First thing you do when you get your 3d printer is print a backup printer.
