Custom Line / Open Time Release
 

If you activate after the bid closes, say during the View/Add window, do you essentially get your pick of open time for your custom line? In other words, a custom line gets built prior to VTO's?

It is in the contract but I think the order is CIC VTO Custom line. CIC is king, carryover must be rewarded.

I know what airline this is. Too bad if you don't.

So they will build the remainder of the month's custom line, and then wait until VTO's are processed to build the following months Custom line?

From the CBA:

After construction of secondary and conversion lines, open time may be used at any time prior to or during a bid period for PMU, substitution/reassignment, custom line construction, advance reserve assignment, advance volunteer assignment, make-up, training assignment and Association Fly Back (AFB).

But as Albie says about golf, applying at FDX, and dating; never up never in ;). Submit your desires with the best of hopes but dont be surprised at trip to GFK and 12 days on reserve.

Just think, with PBS, EVERY month would be like activating after the bid award. Go ahead and put in your request, but don't expect schedules to actually honor them.

"Custom Line" is synonymous with ....bend over. Our pax brethren say the same about PBS.
