What a classy thing to say. I'll bet you are a real joy to be around. You must be one of those pilot's who think they know all the answers and are God's gift to aviation. You couldn't (or wouldn't) want to learn anything from some one who is a little older and and has a little more experience because you know it all. You need to bid the "toolbox" or go to management. You would fit right in.

I also was a FE on that slave ship for 8 months; hated it, almost left. The worst <flying> job I've ever had. Funny thing though, I went from SO on the slave ship to SO on the DC10 for a year and loved the airplane, the trips, heck -- even the training was fun. It was a completely different airline IMHO. Not sorry or sad to see the 727 go.
