It's Official - Goodbye to the 727 at FX

Gone at the end of June. A weird announcement - PC didn't get to it until halfway through his message.

Busiest phone line in Mem Monday will be the disability line. A whole bunch of over 65 guys have days they suddenly have to burn. Second busiest will be the under 65 S/O with draft volunteer selected.

We have reached our cruising altitude!

Standby for the cruise pilot LOA in early June, just in time to meet the 1 July retirement party. Only at the controls above 10K, seperate bid pack, no age limit, no annual sims, only CBTs, a snazzy formula to calculate the number of over 8 hour legs that have to go to non cruise pilots (think large denominator), class II medical. Oh and W/B F/O pay at 75% AVG BLG.

(e) No pilot may:

(1) Serve as a pilot in operations under this part if that person has reached his or her 65th birthday.

Kind of doubt they can serve as cruise pilots.

This section read differently little over 5 yrs ago, so it's conceivable it may read differently in the near future. I'm on your side, just wearing different colored glasses.

I think there's an active one, inherited from the FDX side that may have them both beat.
