Interviews are 5% qualification, 45% competency, and 50% chemistry. The first is covered by the resume, the second by the sim ride, and the third by the interview.

Not with our new system! They use some mythical system for the qualification part and I would guess it is weighted at about 99%

Is the pilot group - in general - unhappy with the pilots hired under this new system during the timeframe that it has been in use, or unhappy at the people NOT selected?

Really, you've had issues with some who have been selected? Why? Problems in the plane, or training or what?

I may be wrong...I have been before...but have you not heard about the new hire that turned a Capt. in...not to pro stan...not to the CO....but directly to the FAA for not putting a mask on?

So I am basing my prior statement of unhappiness on that...however flimsy that may be...

I haven't heard about that recently. I thought that was something that happened a long while back. I'll have to ask around.
