FDX DP Mistake/Help?

Take my medicine
Adlerdriver; Or......... since he's the one that rang the "bell" and he can't un-ring it: How about he sucks it up, takes his medicine and fly the trip, rather than use vacation/fleet Captain heroics to dodge the bullet while leaving it for some poor sap on reserve to fly.
Keep a sleep log, possibly call in fatigued if necessary and don't do it again.[/QUOTE]
That's my plan. Maybe I'll wear a scarlet DP patch.

How about one that says Leper Colony. Then you can cry "Unclean, Unclean" as you walk through the AOC.

Perfect! Maybe he substitutes his ALPA lanyard for Leper Colony lanyard.
I assume everyone uses the black book that our reps put together for us every year. Great resource. On the second page of the gold pages near the front of the book is a “Disputed Pairings” page to record the DP’s in your aircraft each month. All each crew member has to do is look them up before the Conflict Window opens and record them in your little black book (just like you do for your favorite honey in ...). Now you have the DP’s with you wherever you go.
No Excuses!!!!

Why thanks. Nothing personal taken.
Glad I could help get the message out.
However, I don't think I'm doing anything exceptional! It should be the minimum of any "regular ol' line pilot" to just stay informed on things.
Thankfully it's mostly electronic and free. It isn't that hard really!

I think it was Gilligan who said: "Don't throw flames if you live in a grass hut".
They guy screwed up, and called himself on it. Doesn't change the result but the "how hard is it?" line is kinda comical. How hard is it not to lock your keys in your car? How hard is it to remember your company ID when you drive in from your crash pad? How hard is it to follow a checklist? How hard is it to get your monthly bid in on time? Ad nauseum...
The degree of difficulty isn't really the issue.
