Default FDX DP Mistake/Help?

I dorked up the open time frenzy and ended up with a DP.
I am a dum as.
77hrs/8 days of carryover.
I have tried to drop it and trade it.
Can't drop a c/o trip.
Can't trade for a trip with less c/o.
Any corporate secrets on getting rid of the trip?
As usual, I learn things the hard way.
Flame away!

CP

May want to delete the trip specifics. Or be very careful with your postings from here on out. Just a thought.

As for getting rid of it....sorry, can't help. Any other ideas out there, besides the personal scheduling tool "which must not be named?"

If you are still in Mil you could Mil Leave. Not sure your other options. Good luck.

It looks like you are stuck with it. Keep a good sleep log and sent it to the SIG, and if you even think you are fatigued, call it. Otherwise, prepare for the delightful banter from your fellow crew members.

If it leaves after open time release for next month, you could drop it then.

Classic!

You say "flame away"? ok....

(flamethrower on)

I'm sure you're a "good dude"

Seriously - how hard is this process really? how hard is it to be a little extra vigilant regarding DPs?

You're not a "dum as" who "dorked up the open time frenzy" and then "ended up with" a DP

You're a FedEx pilot who VOLUNTARILY agreed to fly a trip that our SIG has asked all of us NOT to voluntarily fly because it is in the best interests of ALL of us not to....period....dot.

there is no valid excuse - it's not rocket surgery

How much longer? As long as we'll jump on a 3% pay rate increase for the status quo.

How much longer? As long as we'll vacuum up DPs like a Dyson.

How much longer? Look around the crew room and count the different types of lanyards.

It can be fixed when we get ready.

I think it was Gilligan who said: "Don't throw flames if you live in a grass hut".
They guy screwed up, and called himself on it. Doesn't change the result but the "how hard is it?" line is kinda comical. How hard is it not to lock your keys in your car? How hard is it to remember your company ID when you drive in from your crash pad? How hard is it to follow a checklist? How hard is it to get your monthly bid in on time? Ad nauseum...
The degree of difficulty isn't really the issue.
