Default 757 v 767

Will these two a/c have the same FMS in it?

In other words, other than the round dial flight instruments in the 767, is the rest of the two a/c cockpits the same, i.e. autopilot, FMS and whatever else?

Thanks in advance to the glass guys who can explain.

Anybody got any pics?

Should be almost identical other than a few small changes for hydraulic system and such. Do the purple 757s have an all glass conversion? I'd much prefer the round dial airspeed and altimeter setup that Boeing delivers with. Just the right mix of automation and analog. 767 cockpit is noticeably wider as well.

Here's a picture from the web that shows an accurate setup of our IS&S Cockpit...

Do you have any pics of the lav in the cockpit of the 767, and will the mike cord reach to the throne?

Silly Walrus there is a mic cord in the throne room. If not you can just grab one of the mics right next to the jumpseaters right next to the throne room.

But back to the FMS question, I am sure the 76 will have the same commodore 128 for VNAV that they installed in the 777. The commodore 64 in the 75 is more than adequate for NB pay aircraft.

Thank you for that pic. For the life of me, I could not find a pic of the round dial/classic 767. There was one pic I found that was labeled part glass. Then there was another site using the term of round dials under glass. So without a pic I really couldn't predict what config the first 4 767s will look like.

Thank you for that FMS info. It would almost have to be the same as the 757 if they were going to common type the two.

One more question, on this excess, going from a narrow body to a wide body, same seat, no seat freeze. BUT now before the 767 bid closes, suppose you are awarded a wide body FO seat on this excess bid and then bid the 767 wide body FO seat, would there be a seat freeze and how much?

thank you in advance

Is that setup done by Honeywell? Looks like it to me.

The 757 retrofit is done by Innovative Solutions & Support. I think the 767 cockpit is being done by Rockwell Collins. Both will have the Honeywell Pegasus FMS.
