Default Fed Ex/UPS from JFK

Offline guy here. Possibly using either to escape JFK later this week. I would be arriving at Terminal 4. Is it possible to get to the Fed Ex or UPS facility via the airtrain? Or do I have to take a cab over?

Thanks for the replies.

We have JB guys use us all the time and I believe they pick up a bus out front of our facility. I am sure someone on here will be able to help you out with the specifics.

I too believe there is an Airport (employee?) Perimeter Bus. I don't know the details.

"If" you end up taking a taxi ... I've had them get lost getting to FedEx and want to charge me the fare "on the meter." I refused and demanded that the driver call the cops. He decided that the $7 ESTIMATE that the dispatcher gave me would be just fine.

Take the AirTrain over to Federal Circle. Go down to the street level and take the bus that goes to the airport Post Office via the North Cargo Boundary Rd.....just ask the driver. Busses run about every 20 min and they're also free like the AirTrain. Stops right in front of the FedEx facility. Walk from the stop into the parking lot and head towards the security screening trailer. Very easy!

If you don't want to sweat your butt off in this transition, there is a local Queens cab company, Kew Car Service (Kew Cab) that will pick you up with a phone call and take you over to the cargo area. I use them all of the time. . . send me a message and I'll give you their number if you'd like it.

I use them quite a bit in between LGA and JFK. Do you remember what they charge to do the short hop to Fed Ex?
