FDX Route and flight plan extractor
Releaser App for Mac OSX
That's a link to the app I wrote which extracts the route and release from the website for use on the ipad. It solves the problem of the international flight with the long van ride and no internet and makes it easier to have the release offline during the drive. It also extracts, formats and encodes the route for copy and paste into the jepp app on the ipad. Jepp uses a different format for all three of their products. Currently it only works on Mac using Chrome. Working on other browsers and a windows port. Beta version right now. |
Maybe you can sell it to the company.
I am not buying anything for my Ipad unless the company pays for it. If they want me to look at the release in advance, they can pay for a way to do it. |

They are more likely to ban it than pay for it. Not invented there.

There's no indication he/she is charging anything.

If a one hour show is not long enough to meet safe legal and reliable requirements, then show time can be pushed up further, with associated duty time and pay consequences for the company. |

I will not interrupt my rest period for this (or any other) company regardless of how much or little it costs.

The whole, "I won't spend one cent to make my life better because it's going on company property" baffles me. |

They can't ban this at all. It resides on your Mac and creates a text file in a folder in your Dropbox account. FedEx would have to ban Dropbox use on the iPad, which is highly unlikely! Its a just a way of storing/sharing files in the cloud. BTW - it works pretty well, however, to be able to do this on the iPad itself would be way better - only one device involved. |
working on a port to the ipad, as well as the windows version.
And yes it is free so stop complaining about free stuff. You obviously didn't even try to download it. Or if you want to pay for it you can PM me and I will be happy to take your money. |
