Is it just me or has anyone else thought that maybe these sleep studies are going to be used by the company to justify cranking up the sodimizer? Maybe I've just lost faith in the company doing the right thing.

Bingo! No way should anyone participate.

There is a reason the company will pay you.

It will be used to justify their cranking up schedules, justifying to the FAA, and everyone they are "safe".

Lets give them a stick to beat us with...and also, let them see your sleep patterns when not working...are you kidding?

ALPA should have said no...but...we will wait and see.

Strange how it is out of Indy and not Memphis.... flights this time of year tend to go more "as scheduled" there compared to the standard hour late out of Memphis. I always preferred a hub turn anywhere other than memphis.

Not just him, but at least it's not the majority of us this time. Many have retired and new blood is here.

But that kind of thinking has resulted in losses. A380 rates without a raise for the 757. Block capture and Penalty grid quickly followed by a substandard HKG LOA #1. VEBA gains as instructors were thrown under the bus.

We all need to be a student of history.

I would advise EVERYONE to think for themselves and not follow anyone blindly.

Everyone on this board for the most part quotes "my union speaks for me"........if that is true why is everyone on here bit..... about every aspect of their lives....if they speak for you how are we in such bad shape.

AGAIN think for yourself ...both sides have been wrong as much as they have been right.

Couldn't agree more with this advise and perspective.

My negotiating committee speaks for me during negotiations. I speak for myself and the best interests of my fellow pilots when it is time to vote. Why have a vote if the lemmings are going to blindly accept whatever is put in front of them (or at least the 68% that seemingly rolls with the first offer).

Default "You'll get nothing and like it!"

Fedex can't afford anything now...too busy buying new planes.

Bid lines are LOW, but at least being bought up.(but they are sending LCA's from Memphis to line check guys in Hong Kong)

Got to have PBS, or you'll loose your retirement.

Can't afford that Known Crew Member - too expensive!(Air Wisconson can)

Yes we are in negotiations, but it is more like the Boss to Cool Hand Luke, sending him to the hole...or better yet, like Spaulding..."You'll get nothing and like it!"
