FDX MD10 Deice Incident
Rumor has it that a FedEx MD10 had an incident with two deice trucks last week.
The story is that the trucks were in position in front of the wings with the booms raised when the A/C began to move forward. Both trucks were up on two wheels when the A/C stopped. One engine and pylon were damaged and will have to be removed for repairs/inspection. Anyone have details on this? |
ask a an fdx guy on the crew bus...quit putting this stuff on this website so all the jealous fdx haters can bash our operation...

Given his avatar, I think A300jetflyer should be encouraged to post what he wants, when he wants, and as often as he wants!:D

Do those have a self sealing feature in case of puncture? :D

LAff,
Sorry, I'm a USN type. But glad to hear other Minks out there are good dudes. |
That's an interesting idea Mark, especially from you. I've been wondering for my whole 1.5 years why we don't air out our laundry on the Fedex ALPA web boards they provide us, free of charge. At my last ALPA carrier, this was one of the best tools we had for discussing issues that we wanted to keep in-house or just issues that only applied to us.
