I wouldn't mess up what you have accomplished with the company ipad, but it would be nice to have the involvement of non iphone users.

I too think the posting feature has been an initial success.

Even post holiday, there are 24 currently trips posted with already 24 initial responses!
Over 100 trips have been posted with over 75 initial responses.
And that is just FxCal users and in only two weeks.

I need some feedback.
I would like to take this to the entire pilot group.
FxBidLite does not have this feature yet, as I have kept it just bidding to stay under any adverse radar. Should I add the ability to post trips in FxBidLite? Should I add the ability to see posts in FxBidLite?
Should I make a web page to post trips?
Should I make a web page to see posts?
Thanks

Should I add the ability to post trips in FxBidLite? YES

And an app for Android 4.3 (out on most phones now) & you may find that it is less fragmented and the google ecosystem has matured somewhat in reference to your previous reservations.

Your market size could increase!

Thanks for the feedback!
I have not expanded it to any of these other media/programs yet.
Still weighing the options/politics.

Current deployment:
All FxCal users can post trips.
All FxCal Open Time subscribers view the posts each time they check Open Time from the company.
All FxCal Open Time subscribers can send an initial email right from FxCal to get the swap/giveaway process started.

I think it is still doing very well, even given the fact only a subset of pilots have access to all the features of the swap function.
It is one thing to post something someplace on the web, it is another to get folks to view it and respond.

Trips posted right now: 23
Total trips posted (in just over 5 weeks of running) 164
Total number of initial email replies (through the app) 126
I cannot track what happens after that, or how many people may have responded directly, after seeing the post in FxCal Open Time.

Hopefully we can keep the momentum going, get it to the full crew force, and finally have a functioning process for posting trips.

App Dude,

Thank you for a great iPhone app. It is a great help.

I think FDX BidLite would be 1,000% better with trip trades included. It's on my iPad but don't use it because I don't bid from my iPad. IMHO you would see a dramatic increase in people who not only have it installed but actually use it. The VIPS footprint would be minimal so I don't see it catching the attention of IT.

I can also see someone using it and deciding to go iPhone after the experience. May increase the number of FX Cal subscribers.

Cheers.

You gotta love the trips that are picked from open time with lightening speed, only to return a short time later in the SWP category. Particularly the Out-n-Backs with the trade note, "...would like to trade for any back end dead head that fits my schedule." If you don't intend to fly it, it would be nice if.....

Rant over. How about those charters?

appDude-

Love the app- worth every penny.

I find I miss opening multiple windows.
What about tabbed browsing?

Thx
