FDX Pay Only question
So next month I'll be in pay only status due to training. I'm planning on bidding the highest pay line. Here is the question. Will the credit hours that I would have flown go into my make up bank?

I mean the whole month.
Start 767 training in sept. (coming from 757).Will have the a custom line more than likely in Oct.. But when I bid this month for October Ill bid a
757 line.
So for ex. If Im awarded a line with 74 hours. Will that 74 hours be dropped into my make up bank or will I just get paid 74 hours?

If you are exiting ITU in Oct, bid lines with MOST DAYS OFF. They have to honor the number of days off for that line on your custom line. Depending on how much you've done in Oct in ITU, this will minimize the custom line.

What if you have vacation? How does that work into the equation? Like a VTO?

Quick and dirty
I like control, so I tend to bid every line above RLG and then every VTO line, followed by Any RSV line.
I don't bid any lines below RLG.
Any carryover during training bounces into makeup bank.
If Oct is the beginning of your training, don't bid lines heavily weighted to the front of the month if your training begins at the end. Min Days Off doesn't quite function the way a pilot would think and you can wind up working a lot of days for straight BLG
