I actually have good memories of the ATI guys at the TOL sort for Burlington in the early 90's...good bunch of freight dogs.

I liked the old Buffalo Airways 707's in Burlington Northern colors.

Yes all good folks...I also used to j/s LAX-TOL, and was amazed (as a 727 FE at the time) that when the captain on the CFM 8's called for climb thrust the FE pushed the throttles FORWARD..

That TOL sort back in the early '90s was pretty good considering Burlington wasn't a "tier 1" operator. Quiet, clean bunks (long before UPS had them), an "honor breakfast bar" of sorts (better than the Hazmat Cafe at UPS), and in my case two short legs a night in a 727.

Not too bad....

Maybe you guys could actually wait until our airline actually dies before writing eulogies? I know its inevitable, but I've got 1-2 months left here and those senior to me will be able to ride it out until ATSG figures out how to get rid of those pesky, profitable combis.

ATSG is going to make some announcements next week. Sounds like it will be bad news for ATI. I didn't think things could get much worse.
