UPS Internship?

Just wanted to see if anyone could give me some information on UPS internships? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I applied for it last semester. 3.0 GPA requirement. I had a Captain walk mine in, and did not get a call back. It is extremely competitive. The one we had was for entire year and it paid $3000/month, it was in Louisville. Good luck.

Wow! $3,000/month, no wonder it's so competitive. Thanks for the info edik.

It is an excellent opportunity to learn new many skills, expand your knowledge of 121 training and the express shipping industry, and network with crewmembers...and yes, it is very competitive.

The reason the internship pays more than a first year first officer is that usually the intern is not trying to kill you.:D

I don't believe that UPS interns get any company benefits either. I think that is another reason for the pay.

This is correct.

There is no compensation whatsoever outside of straight pay, and the salary paid to FTC Co-ops is the same as every co-op in the Air Group, from IE to MX to Finance.
