FedEx Jumpseat
Is FX not allowing JS's untile 12/31? Looking at the JS page the schedules don't start until 12/31. Can't pull up anything before that date.
Thank |

Sorry, never mind. The way the dates were displayed it looked like nothing was available before that date. How soon do you have to list? |

If you're ALPA, you find all the info you need here:FedEx Offline Jumpseating Guide |

Not sure of offline, 1hr to 14 days for FedEx. Where are you looking?
DEN-LAX on 12/23. The first flight segment going to MEM is flight #1375, departs 1900L , 0200Z on a date of 12/23. Does that mean that it ACTUALLY leaves DEN on the night of 12/22 but the Zulu time is on 12/23? |

DEN-LAX. As an example, on the page with schedules, I put in the follwing info.

There might be better ways to get to LAX from DEN (that's if the airport opens in DEN tomorrow:( ) though - UAL, Frontier, I think NW may have a couple flights. |

Yep, if you look at the title of the grid (on the ALPA site, right?) it says Dep Date (zulu). Also, the input for the date over on the left says zulu date as well. So 0200Z on the 12/23 is 1900L on 12/22.

But there is something like 3000 dispalced passengers at DIA. Not counting all the Non-Revs trying to get somewhere. Top it off with displaced crewmembers who might be riding in the JS's (I know, most CBA's prevent this, but does seem to happen) as well as commuting guys. I'm just trying line up something that might be a little more of a sure thing so to speak. I'm on vacation with plenty of time to get there, just want to be there before 12/25. |

I'm on vacation with plenty of time to get there, just want to be there before 12/25. Roger that! Just remember, DEN has one of the largest amount of commuters for FedEx, over a couple hundred, and the weather has stranded guys in DEN for us as well, both the crews that were operating out of DEN and many communters trying to get to work. I would not be surprised if our jumpseats were full up with folks trying to get out as well, once the airport opens. Call our jumpseat number and they will have all the info you need, and you should check with them often, as the situation is fluid and may change without notice - to your advantage or disadvantage. Good luck! |
Going to OAK then on to LAX might be a better option. I'm not sure of your schedule but if its before Saturday afternoon, there should be some flights.

Wonder if any of you guys can answer for me, how many JS's on the A-300? Think I may have found a ride to LAX.
