Kalitta Air now accepting FO applications

Maxjet,
You need not worry about taking supplies to our troops with a 20 hour duty day.
Atlas does it just fine with a 20 hour day and Evergreen did just fine with an 18 hour duty day.
AND, the whole point of getting a good TA is so that you don't have to worry about working so hard to be able to make a living.
You fly a 747 around the world under sometimes dangerous conditions. The least Connie can do is adequately compensate you, so that you don't have to work like a dog to support your family.
You are a professional pilot doing a dangerous job. You need to be compensated like one.

BOTTOM LINE. LET ME VOTE ON MY T.A.

Screwed,
This is the part you do not seem to get. We all support our Union. As Orka has pointed out we are against a competitor (DW representing Atlas interests), holding up a vote on a TA, negotiated in good faith, by OUR Union Negotiators. If you cannot support us on this then you are in fact not my Union brother and are dead to me.

We are very much on the same page regarding wages and benefits. You are very uninformed and obviously inexperienced regarding military trips. Under your 20 hour duty day senecio, I would end up staying the night and perhaps waiting days for the next flight to come through in such garden spots as Baghram. Not good for my wallet.

Well over 100 Bagram trips in the last 10 plus years. There have been months when I did up to 3 trips to Bagram. And a few other bases in Afghanistan.
NEVER ONCE SPENT THE NIGHT.
Too bad you don't know what your talking about. Bagram can be done in under 18 hours per trip. Been there done it. That was the max duty day at the airline I flew for.

I have seen the GMM video with my own eyes where Wells repeatedly says there are other open sections and therefore no T.A. exists at this time.
Show us some evidence to prove he is lying.

Why is it that Atlas pilots can make a living without having to HOE themselves out.
K4 pilots should be striving to better the current Atlas contract in every way.....not seeking to lowball it.
When UPS goes for a new contract they seek to better FedEx. When Delta goes for a new contract they seek to better UAL, etc. etc.
Not K4.....they want to lowball.
Its sad and pathetic. But at least the union is trying to prevent it.

Seriously, I will capitulate if you can show me anything put out by your N.C. that states there is a T.A.

There is an agreement in principle that would be a TA if our negotiating committee was allowed to do their job.
