They had a lot of interest at WIA and are going through the app's. Wide variation in those interested, a lot on Military types with heavy time although not a lot of TT. Lot's of regional types too. Also have plenty of app's flowing in online. Will take a while to sort but classes are scheduled / needed all year.

Hours of service changes wont be effect till this DEC
Per Diem Increase. Strong Scope section. Training section overhaul.
Def a step forward for this pilot group.

we retained getting paid on our commute to and from work
we retained full day Per Diem for each day
monthly guarantee slight increase 62 to 64 hours.
Thanks a lot, I was just looking for the skinny, or a few paragraphs that were maybe floating around somewhere. I didn't realize pay on APC was updated, I'll take a look.

Does anyone know what kind of hours are competitive now'a'days? I have just over 5,000TT, on Dash-8, E-145 and now A320 in Europe, but unfortunately not much in the way of PIC time yet unfortunately.. Once I renew my FAA medical, I'll throw my number in the hat..

I do not know what the numbers are, but based on what I had, and my friends, around 4500TT, 1000 TPIC 121 if civillian, current, no failed checkrides in past 5 years. A friend of mine has an interview coming up with numbers similiar to that. He was offered interview before I even had a chance to put in a good word for him.

i have heard in the past thats an issue with the system they are using....personally I would probably just send an updated resume to both the HR department and the CP's office.

Does anyone know how the 135/91 guys fall into the hiring equation? I'm currently at a home based frac job, but would like to get on at K4. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I am tied to the area I live in, and unless an airline drops a base in MEM or BNA I will likely not fly 121 because of the horror stories I hear about commuting.
Long story short..what are the chances of a guy with no 121 time getting on at K4? Thanks.

X2, hoping to hear something. I do know of someone who applied online (no other contact) with barely any turbo prop time getting an interview...

You mentioned training section overhaul. What's changed with the training department? I remember hearing the washout rate was relatively high at K4, if that was case are things getting better in that regard?

If you give 110% in training, they WILL notice it, and will work to get you through. I highly recommend that you have glass cockpit experience, and know how to program the box. It's 90% similiar to the Collins in the CRJ. Go take a look at PMDG's addon for flight simulator, their new 747-400. You will show up to class already knowing how to fly the damn thing.
This is not an entry level job, you need to come wearing your big boy and girl pants.
Don't show up with distractions like family and business issues on the side. You are given a mountain of manuals, and yes, you need to read them all and continue to read them all for as long as you work here.
I can't speak about how it used to be here, but I keep hearing from everyone that it has improved greatly, that the old reputation this place has is no longer valid.
