Anyone currently working there willing to PM to answer some questions?
Also, anyone interviewed under the new 2-day system be willing to do the same?
Thanks!

Similar timeline to you, within a month or two. I was surprised, as well, since I'm a relatively low time guy and applied several months ago not thinking I had much chance of getting called.

You have to pick an airport in the 50 states to commute to and from that has commercial air service. Before the latest contract, interpretation of this requirement was for the most part "if you can get yourself to where one of our aircraft is we will just have you start your month there". On a month by month basis they would usually relieve you of the requirement to get to the US on your own. Sometimes if there was not an aircraft that you could "catch", you were stuck buying a ticket if you could not jumpseat. Under the new contract and management, there is an emphasis to keep crews on their lines. I suspect this will eliminate a crew members ability to start their trip somewhere other than the original departure point. At this time we have no trips that start in France.

We have guy's that live overseas (one in FRA I believe) and they generally make their way to BRU or LEJ (regular DHL flights) to head to CVG. However you maybe lucky (if on a RSV line) to get something starting in Europe.
