but they really aren't... if you work the first days of the month.. and the last days of the month.. and you do that in the next month... you will still work 16 days they just start in one month and end the next.. and you have the middle of the month off. in my mind a split line is like ... 8 on.. 8 off... 8 on..7 off... etc... we dont have many of those... they company doesn't like them because they require more airline tickets....

I feel like the last time I saw a real split line was last July or August. Feels like a long time ago - there aren't many people here who like them either because it reduces pay credit.

Not entirely true. They work like a charm if you're wanting overtime. The carryover days can be huge money if they're attached to a trip on the wrong side of the world. I've snagged Incheon and Delhi trips on carryover days, and that translates to lots of $$$

I mean a line built that way, not bidding to make one. Then again I'm stuck in the second half cycle so I don't bid much else anyways...

At World Airways, this was the schedule I held for several years. Worked good for me and it was easy to plan.

Do you expect any type of announcement to be made, I don't seem to be able to find any information scattered throughout the interwebs. Is it a job fair appearance or an open house?

An Open house, in Chicago? Maybe if it was in YIP, or OSC
