Manual search of the ATCSCC ground stop advisory records also displays the ground stop and titles it UPS GROUND STOP.
The stated reason is AIRLINE COMPUTER ISSUES.

It was not an FAA grounding of the airline, but company requested precaution. Using the ground stop process through command center is the fastest way to spread the word.
It was also not the beginning some great cyber attack or conspiracy to shut down the skies. The timing was purely coincidental and may have caused some packages to be delivered late the next day... which i suppose is equivalent to the end of the world for some people
