The Guys Hired in 1989 to mid year 1994 were Captains in 4 to 8 years. Late 1994 onward 12 to 16 years. And obviously the Guys Hired in 1988 were Captains Day 1. And are Still Captains today. And still don't leave a day before 64 364 days old.

You're theory is flawed. I was hired in '88, I was not a Captain on day 1 and I will not work until 64 and 364/365 years old. Got anymore incorrect logic you care to share?

They Hired 400 or so in 1988. By 1989 the Seniority List was up to 800. And 1200 by 1990.

What I am also saying, is that every 1988 Hire here has been Captain for over 24 years. While Most here today will, or will be FO's for 12 to 18 years plus. And the '88 Hires still don't leave a day early. I can type a list a mile long of all the '88 Hires I've flown with that have stayed till 64 and 364 days.

while i agree folks won't leave at any appreciable number with a better A plan I never understand the argument that guys should quit because they have had a good deal.

Agree. As if the majority of those hired in the last 10 years are going to leave early unless they medical out. Not gonna happen.

Can only speak for myself, but I am definitely retiring early if we get a reasonable bump in the A plan.

Just to set the record straight, not everyone hired in '88 was from a contractor.

Also, I was hired in the last 10 years and don't plan to stay until 65 unless there's something catastrophic.
