They Hired 400 or so in 1988. By 1989 the Seniority List was up to 800. And 1200 by 1990. What I am also saying, is that every 1988 Hire here has been Captain for over 24 years. While Most here today will, or will be FO's for 12 to 18 years plus. And the '88 Hires still don't leave a day early. I can type a list a mile long of all the '88 Hires I've flown with that have stayed till 64 and 364 days. That's there right; but to say people will leave after they get a better "A" plan is Horse Hockey |
while i agree folks won't leave at any appreciable number with a better A plan I never understand the argument that guys should quit because they have had a good deal.

Can only speak for myself, but I am definitely retiring early if we get a reasonable bump in the A plan. |
