Default Kalitta Air

I have been looking over the airline profiles page and it seem like Kalitta Air is hiring, however on their jobs page I can't seem to find a First Officer positions open. Anyone in the know that knows if they are in fact hiring?

We fly where the need is great, whether Afghanistan, or natural disaster, on September 12 , 2001 a Connie 747 flew atmospheric testing gear from LAX - JFK, it was the only civilian airplane flying in the system, this job is not for everyone. I'm glad we do what we do.

The Ebola charters have strict protocol which is being followed. K4 worked with the CDC to develop the guidelines. Additionally the trips are all voluntary. I know Centurion, Western Global and Cargolux are all going into ROB, and Ia m sure that there are others.

That's because you suck! Someday when some family member of yours is stuck on a dark road somewhere I try hope that the folks who drive by don't have the same selfish attitude as you.

Not true. There was at least one other ACMI doing AMC flying under the "Reach" call sign.

Ok , so there were 2 flights on 9/12 which does nothing to diminish the sight of a Connie 747 taxiing out at LAX, while the entirety of CONUS's airspace was under a lockdown post 9/11 , when it hits the fan, from Ebola, the Afghan Wars, to natural disaster, who are they gonna call ? I'm alumni now, but I loved my time at K4, the flying rocked, and so did my fellow air pirates. God bless them everyone !!!
