FedEx carryover and secondary line
Any help would be appreciated, I've gone through the contract twice but don't see a reference.
I have carryover going into November and I'm likely bidding a secondary line. How many hours will my secondary line be if I have a 14 hour carry? Will they build it just to the secondary target minus 14? Or will they give me a full secondary line and keep the carryover so I'm stuck flying 85 hours in a four week bid month?
Thanks

You are their pawn when you are on VTO. If they give you a carryover trip, you can't drop it. About the only ability you have to reduce any days is if they give you R days and you can drop them.
I get about 3 or 4 carryover trips a year and can't do a damn thing about it.

A carry over line will be awarded whether it is bid or not. I think C/O is the dumbest ALPA invention ever but not bidding it is not the solution. I bid them and protect min days off.
