Default FedEx to buy back 15 million shares

Ok. So where is our contract! If the company can afford to buy back shares, they can afford our "in-line" and "realistic" contract improvements regardless of what PC states!

You're absolutely correct, they can afford to do so. The question remains will the pilot group require them to?

Don't Take this the Wrong way. I'm sure it will come across that way. But many here at UPS don't want you to settle "soon". Sorry.

Your Low expectations and "in-line" demands are not what your peers want you to achieve. To many up North here, the View is that you guys are not assertive enough, not even close.

Wake up and demand Very large improvements. Remember, 11 years ago. Yes, 11 years ago UAL and DL Widebody pay was $318.00 an Hour. Add 11 years of inflation to that and that's the number "we" need to be at. Lord knows our companies can afford it. Easily.

I am glad you know what we are asking for, I don't. But I am I no hurry to settle either. You guys are 6 months ahead of us, I am sure we will take the same steps you do. And as I said before when you consider work rules and our 10% hidden pay we likely cost the same per pilot as brown pilots, I see no reason to think we will settle cheaper this time either.

Thanks for the advice. I remember ten years or so ago and the UPS union leadership was a national embarrassment. Let's hope you've got your house in order this time. Last time, "not even close". But thanks for the advice.

Somebody explain, I don't get stock buy backs. That's several years of profit, why not increase the dividend instead?

Why so ungrateful? The company stock has climbed from the $70's to today's $161.45 during these "negotiations." That's a pay raise. (Sarcasm)
