Default Wet lease?

The Contract permits wet leasing during peak. I wonder how long until we see them? Will they lease extra planes/crews this year?

Maybe it's me, but it seems like it would be easier (cheaper?) to negotiate a Contract with us?

I called the bus sim scheduler and she said they'd moved a large number of people from their due month into November, because of peak. I don't think there is anything in the contract that stops this from happening.
So why doesn't the company let you move into your grace month? If your training is in Dec., wouldn't moving your training to Jan. have the same effect as moving it to Nov. as far peak is concerned? Far be it from me to apply reason and logic to this situation.

A quote from a scheduler: "It's better to be proactive rather than reactive."

If you have something happen and don't get it in the grace month, you go NOQ. If it happens in the month prior to your normal training month, you still have another 2 months to get it. Not saying I agree with them moving it, but that would be a reason to move it early instead of late.
