Default CMV1 Training Month Move (FX)

I am sure this addressed in the contract, but I can't find it. I am scheduled for CMV1 in December, but I received a Crew Notification it is going to be in November. Can they move it like that without my input?

There are a couple of impacts to the unexpected move; less preparation time, availability of the 30 day practice sim, and to be honest, December scheduling flexibility.

Does anyone know a contract reference to this?

I received the same message, and had the same question.

I also received the notification and I can't find a reference in the contract. I would like to keep it in December as planned.

Sounds like they did it in your pre-month. If you're an MD pilot, one of the sims is down til Apr so maybe that's why. Having training in Dec can be a good deal if you have an R line.

Having the sniffles in November will take care of that.

I'd always thought AQP was very strict in when training could be done: your due month or the one after. Anyone have more knowledge of our AQP standards and what has been approved by the FAA? Wonder if they're good with it?

Knightflyer, please explain. The Dec and R line part. Thanks.

Drop training over a string of R days and the R days go away. You can make up the hours (or not) in CIC makeup. This is a way even a junior guy can sometimes get some decent trips a couple times a year.

Thanks Albie. Do a search on here; others have explained it better than I can.
