It sounds like you want CRS to process trips so quickly that pilots with PMU find that option essentially useless and the whole thing reverts to first come-first served. Then the PMU people would be crying "unfair".

IMO, once general trip trading is open, it should be first come-first served and it obviously needs to be real time. Let the PMU folks cherry pick prior to that. Until that happens, I really don't think you have much of a leg to stand on.

I think there are people complaining that PMU time can "recycled" and kept as an advantage tool longer than contract intent.

Riddle me this Batman. Only one trade on the 757 has been processed in the last 2 hours. The trip I was trying to pick up was awarded to someone else. His original trip posted in open time. This should have triggered a disapproved earlier time stamp notification. Methinks this FO has some type of inside track. Why is he the only guy that had a trade request processed?

Your earlier time stamp notification gets triggered when YOUR trip request is processed. The fact that his was processed and his old trip showed up in OT has nothing to do with your request still waiting in the cue (it should - but that would make too much sense). It's certainly possible that his request was far enough ahead on the list that it got processed, then the scheduler went off to smoke a pack of luckys and read War and Peace and just hadn't gotten to yours yet.

Schedulers processing these requests is a joke. I had a request in for about an hour a few days ago. So, it's not a high volume period, the month is winding down. Plus, it's ANC - OT is glacial there - hardly any trades, minimal activity or changes. After an hour, I call the guy and asked him to process it. He starts to tell me he has some stuff to do and he'll get to it in about 10 minutes. Then he changes his mind and does it with me on the phone. Once he started to do it, the whole event took about 15 seconds. He looked at the list of requests (there was ONE - mine). I'm guessing he clicked on it and said "Process" or whatever. I got the notification 5 seconds later. Done.

I'm kicking myself now. I should have said something like: "Wow, that was quick. How come that same process will take 6 hours this Thursday night?"

I think PMU is locked out the first 12 hours of open time being open for the month. Not sure.

VTO's

From my perspective they're not even interested in granting the simplest VTO request, commutability.

6 hrs and 31 mins to process a request that was submitted the second Open Time was released

And still denied for Insufficient Reserves with 22 in Max Open and 1 trip in Open Time

This is not remotely similar to
"past practice"

Who thinks they are treating the crew force with honesty and transparency ?

Gentleman, it really is time to think hard, about how you're being treated

Much like in sports, one cannot control the actions of the referee or your opponent -- however, one is in full control of how one reacts.

How are you and your teammates going to react?

The clock is ticking

Sounds like some kind of glitch. Does it show that it was processed? You can check that status of that request by clicking "trip trade inquiry" under the bid line adjustment menu.

they've already put the ASBY and HSBY in open time for the month. This affects Max open time. But I can't believe there would be 11 ASBY on your trip trade request day

I believe you have to look at the entire footprint of the trip, not just the day it begins.
