Back After 3+ Years!
Hi all:
I've been out on a medical leave for over 3 years. I start back next month. I've tried searching this info but it takes me to Google. So screw that, I'll ask directly.
My old crashpad is full. I'm thinking of hoteling it for the two weeks I'm in BI (yeah, they're putting me through BI again). No big deal, I probably could use it. What's the preferred hotel to stay in for a couple of weeks until I find a place? Is the Sheraton that's close to the airport still an option? I believe they used to call it the Hollow Point?
It's also been a while since I've been on here. It's nice to see not a lot has changed.

Ok, I found some stuff regarding hotels after looking around just a little...
So here's the next question...where is BI held now? That can help make the hotel decision. Where is 757 ground school/sim training held?

The crew room is torn up right now, but there is a wall of crashpad listings that is easily found.
I would think that you should be able to find one in a day or two, if you come to Memphis a couple days early before your training.
They range in price from $175-$300, last time I checked.

I'll clear up a few things.....BI will be in the Gucci building on Airways. Third floor. I'm gathering they are putting you in the right seat of the 757. Ground school is on the third floor of Gucci as well. Sims are still at Hacks Cross. Good luck and welcome back!!

I could hold any right seat, but I want to be as senior as I can be for now, until I get my feet underneath me again.
Training hotels, crash pads, airport cars (I sold mine, on APC!), where to go, etc...all good problems to have...like where the contents of my locker went??
