Military conversion
Here's a question for the masses. I am an FA-18 pilot with about a year left on my current contract. I am currently putting in applications with UPS / FedEx with the hopes of getting a job when I get out. For flight time calculations, I was told to add .2 hours for each logged flight. This is supposed to account for the military practice where flight time is counted from takeoff to land. Anyone have any idea if that conversion is standard or should I just put my log book times on the app's?

Military correction
Thanks for your service.
When I left the Military I prepared a basic resume with NO corrections. For every airline I applied to I called recruiting and asked if they wanted a military correction put into the numbers. Most preferred that NO correction be added, for the few that did I put in a line ahead of the hours section that Military Correction of .xx has been added.
Good luck. See ya on the line.
