Beware Collierville residents...
 

Hey guys.......beware of the police setting speed traps in neighborhoods. I have seen several police on major cutthrough roads setting up radar. Especially those 20mph zones. I guess they are trying to make quota for the year in the month of Jan.

Also, those that travel nonconah parkway can expect several speed traps on eastbound where it goes from 55 to 65 right before Hacks Cross. I have seen the traps twice since the beginning of Jan and I've only transversed it 3 times. There was an article in the paper about this.

Just trying to save a few bucks for those who have the lead foot. :)

if u get pulled over and they see u r a coll resident they will not give u a ticket...at least they did not give me one...

If you drive I-40, either Lakeland or Arlington, can't remember which, is going to lower the highway speed to 50 mph. YES 50 mph, when it is 70 mph before and after that area.....

If it's a posted speed limit haw can it be a trap? :rolleyes: Kinda like getting caught exceeding 250k below 10,000 ft

Collierville Speed traps

I have driven regularly between Collierville and the AOC for 9 years. Never been pulled over and no tickets. I just heed the speed limits and use my turn signals. Shouldn't be a problem if you can read a speedometer.

I lived in MEM for 7. When I drove to the AOC nobody on the NON-Connahh or I-40/240 ever heeded the speed.........or used their turn signals.........or yielded to Emergency vehiciles.........or actually stop at RED lights........or Stop at stop signs......or slow in School Zones..............

Gotta love those MEM drivers...
