Default FDX voluntary reserve conversion

I opted for a voluntary reserve conversion and protected my days off. Wondering how late prior to the bid period they can do the conversion?
The contract states you must check VIPs 3 days prior to the bid period beginning to see if you were converted. Curious if two weeks into the bid period they can "convert" and assign you a trip on a day you didn't protect off.....or if once the bid period begins they can no longer "convert"????
Thanks

Once open time is released the bid period processing is complete. If you're not converted you will not be.
