Atlas Air?

Is there anyone that can tell me about Atlas? I see on APC that they are not hiring, but are expecting new aircraft acquisitions this year. I sent in my resume anyway, but other than is listed on APC, what else should I know?

We are not getting new airplanes this year. The 747-8 won't be here until 2010 and we are parking classics.

Sorry.

You should know they fly the hell out of the crews, 18-20 days a month.

Atlas is looking like it is going to be involved in a take over. Harbert Managment bought over 6.9 million shares of Atlas in recent months. They now own over 35% of Atlas and they are not stopping.

I am not sure that means anything but new management.
