FDX Christmas Buffet

Has anyone seen the FCIF about the "Holiday Buffet" that the company puts on each year? I can't find it and don't recall seeing it. If anyone knows the dates and times can you please post them.....I don't want to miss out on my free shrimp!!

:D

No FCIF. Kind of like the annual FedEx Family Day--publicized to all employees except Flight Crewmembers. Check Holiday Party Schedule under Upcoming Events on the pfc page.

Enjoy the free Holiday treats ... you're getting that instead of a TA with a pay raise. Since it's not in the Contract it might be part of next years cost cutting measures?

We get no buffet, but used to get a coupon for frozen turkey that they got rid of along with 5% of the 10% stock purchase discount all the while making historical profits and record dividend payouts! Go figure.

The only way that could get any better is to use tap water instead of the filtered water!! :D

I'm not sure why everyone gets so excited about this in Memphis. They even keep the lights off, you can't see a thing- including the food. Hmmm.

Q: Are they serving it in a brown bag?

A: Even if you don't see it (ESPECIALLY if you don't see it), Yes, they're serving it in a brown bag.

Translation: If you're eating their shrimp and roast beef, you're drinking their kool-ade.

That's one way of looking at it I suppose. Another way is that you've already paid for the chow, so you might as well eat it and enjoy to fellowship there at the dinner. After all, you'd probably be too busy eating and conversing with friends, to actually talk to or acknowledge any of the management types hanging around. Happy Holidays.
